What it istermi1

termi1 is an SSH, Mosh and SFTP terminal for your phone. It is for running servers from your pocket: sessions that survive a network change, files built in, and — if you want it — an AI that turns what you dictate into a command and writes it at the prompt. You choose what runs on its own; the irreversible never does.

Contact

If something is wrong, unclear, or broken, write to:

[email protected]

A person replies (Samuel). If you can, include your phone model, OS version, and what you were doing when it failed.

System keyboard (iOS)

termi1 may include a system keyboard for use outside the app (Notes, another SSH client, the browser…). It does not request Full Access.

  1. Install termi1 from the App Store and open it at least once.
  2. On iPhone: Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard… → choose «termi1».
  3. In any text field, hold the globe icon and switch to termi1.
  4. For arrows and terminal keys in plain text (e.g. Notes), you can turn off the «ansi» switch on the bottom row; leave it on in a terminal.

This keyboard does not request Full Access. iOS will not show the “may record what you type” warning for this extension. What you type stays in the host app’s field; the bundled keyboard does not use the network.
