What termi1 is

termi1 is an SSH, Mosh and SFTP terminal app for phones. It works without an account: you can connect to your servers without signing up.

Data that stays on the phone

  • Saved connections, shortcuts and preferences (on device; with an account, also in the cloud tied to your user).
  • SSH keys generated on the phone: stored in the system secure store (Keychain / Keystore) behind device unlock. They are not sent to our servers.
  • Passwords only if you explicitly choose “remember”; also in the secure store, never in the cloud.

Account (optional)

If you sign in with Apple or Google, we use that account’s identifier to sync connections and shortcuts across your devices and, where applicable, founder offer and AI+ status. Authentication is provided by Firebase Authentication.

AI and voice

If you use AI command interpretation, the text you dictate or type and a minimal session context are sent to the model provider (e.g. Google Gemini) to return the proposed command. That command is written at the terminal prompt: depending on the mode you chose it either runs or waits for your Enter. The irreversible — forced deletions, formatting, raw writes to a disk — never runs on its own.

System keyboard (iOS)

The termi1 app may include an iOS system keyboard extension so you can type in other apps with terminal keys (esc, tab, ctrl, symbols) and its own QWERTY layout.

The keyboard bundled with termi1 does not request “Full Access”. It runs on-device only: it does not use the network as a keyboard, does not send what you type in other apps to our servers, and does not need an App Group for its basic job.

In password fields and other secure fields, iOS disables third-party keyboards and returns to the system keyboard. That is an Apple rule, not a setting we control.

If we later ship a separate keyboard app with network or AI features, it will have its own App Store listing, its own Full Access permission if required, and its own privacy policy. That is not the local keyboard included with termi1.

Purchases

Subscriptions (AI+) are handled by the App Store and Google Play. We do not receive or store card numbers. Purchase status is checked via RevenueCat to enable or disable the entitlement.

This website

termi1.com is informational. No account required. If you email [email protected], we use that address only to reply. The site’s accessibility panel stores preferences in your browser’s localStorage; they do not leave the device.

Your rights

If you have an account and want synced data deleted, or you have a privacy request, write to [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time.
